The Oklahoma State Cowboys probably have one of the most underrated histories in college football. Few people know that they've had many great players who have made it big in the NFL. The best of their talent also came in the form of running backs Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders in the 1990s. Let’s take a look at a few other greatest players of all times the Oklahoma State Cowboys ever produced.

Leslie O'Neal
Almost every fan of the Cowboys remembers O’Neal as someone who simply refused to lose, and his career at Oklahoma State was highlighted by his work ethics and dedication. He was the three-time all-conference performer who set the OSU sack record in 1984 with 14.0 QB sacks. He joined the Chargers after they selected him in the first round with the eighth overall pick in the 1986 NFL draft. He was also named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year but suffered a major knee injury at the end of his first season.

Charlie Johnson
Drafted in the sixth round of the 2006 NFL draft out of Oklahoma State, Johnson played for the Indianapolis Colts for five seasons before moving to the Minnesota Vikings for one. Johnson was also a Super Bowl Champion. He was on the line that protected Peyton Manning, another great Quarterback during the Colts' 2006 Super Bowl run.

Terry Miller
Terry Miller was an All-American at Oklahoma State University in 1976 and 1977 and finished second in the 1977 Heisman Trophy voting to winner Earl Campbell. After becoming the fifth overall pick of the 1978 NFL draft, Miller rushed for over 1,000 yards in his rookie season with the Buffalo Bills. Despite his rookie success, he never got back to that level and was relegated to mostly kick return duty in his third season.
Rashaun Woods
It is hard to talk about Oklahoma State football without talking about one of their best players of all times Rashaun Woods. He was a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL) for two seasons during the early 2000s. He was also selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2004 NFL Draft and played professionally for the NFL's 49ers and the CFL's Toronto Argonauts.

Oklahoma State continues to bring out great players! If you’re a fan or want to show support towards this amazing and dedicated team, look for Oklahoma State Cowboys clothing and wear them with pride.
